After spending ten days in western India, we didn't know what to expect as our plane landed in Goa.
Reading trip advisor, viewing images on line and reading comments of Pousada Tauma, we made our reservations. There were eight of us three adults and five children ages 11-17. As our cars pulled up to the lush, understated entrance, with sprinklings of flower petals on the ground, we just knew, that this was going to be special.
Pousada Tauma is an intimate, caringly designed hotel. Where the outside world falls away and you can truly feel you're on vacation. Neville, Matthew, and Rocky welcomed us with warm hospitality and perfect service.
We felt like we were staying at a private home. In their cozy restaurant, the chef never failed to prepare us delicious meals. On our last night in Goa, he made us an incredible feast. The dinner was full of many special house dishes, desserts and a taste of the local drink.
Our large group had traveled through Rajastan, seen great monuments, viewed visually beautiful countryside's, but our stay at Pousada Tauma and our last dinner in India, is what we still talk about when friends ask us," How was it
